But for my part, I'm on the same page as you gerdbonk. The alpha talk is nice--spigaw has been a huge ego booster with his Platowe/ewotalp character (that is so incredibly generous a gesture I can't repay it). But ya gotta keep perspective. I signed on to this strip out of a whim, and grew to enjoy it as a diversion from my real life of teaching and writing. The people here, like you, are so talented and wonderful how could I not want to continue with my paltry little strip? The rewards are in the stripping (as I've learned from our european colleagues to call it!). I ain't gonna rate bad strips negatively and I'm only going to encourage those with wit and talent. (My friend, you should go pro--though maybe you already are. I suspect that for MC, Asha and xideum--they are awesomely good too. People like neokratos give me chills for the talent they have as teenagers! But as an experienced professor I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that.)

    One blanket negative comment though: I dispise the surprising level of homophobic remarks in so many lesser strips here. But I suspect most of those are western hemisphere. . .

    ps i agree with you. I think will be better if they use ratings, comments and bribed statistics, and not only visits.... there are lots of strippers, like you, that make wonderful strips, but not everyday... and there are strippers that do strips without sense but they do 30-40 of these every day... they get more visits, but they don't get a single rating or comment for the strips that they make... ( sry 4 the bad english, i'm italian =) ... )
